Family Trees About Us

This is a site about a Minorcan family named Manucy. Minorca is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Spain. Josef Manucy sailed from the city of Mahon for New Smyrna Beach, Florida in 1768. His father Marcos was born in Italy and moved to Mahon where Josef was born. There are many families that will be added to this site as we collect information about them, however as of January 2002 we have about 1200 families, over 700 Manucys.

Hello my name is Mark J. Manucy and I am from Saint Augustine, Florida. I currently live in Conway, a small southeastern suburb of Orlando.

This web site is about all the Manucys, from the time they left Minorca in 1768 until today. We don't have all of them yet, but maybe you can help. Click on contact us to send me any information you might have about your Manucy family.

The Manucy name goes back beyond 1715, and that time period is still being researched. It appears the root is in Italy and records are being searched to gather additional information.

The majority of the information posted here is through the efforts of my father, Albert C. Manucy.

If you want more information about the Manucys visit The Saint Augustine Historical Library. The basic Manucy genealogy was presented to the library in 1949 and was updated in 1951 and again in the 80's. Be sure to see

The Albert Manucy Hall.

THIS SITE IS DEDICATED TO MY FATHER AND MOTHER WHOSE ANNIVERSARY IS NOVEMBER 11 (1935).
